After going through more than a dozen international festivals of great trajectory, gaining the recognition of the public and the judges in several countries, the film directed by Carlos Ospina will be able to be seen for the first time in the national circuit as part of the Colombian Film Festival in the 23rd version of the Santa Fe de Antioquia Film Festival, a stage recognized for being an event where directors of the stature of Juan José Campanella and Fernando Trueba, both Oscar winners, have passed, as well as a good litter of national and international talent.

From December 8 to 11, Santa Fe de Antioquia will dress up as a cinema and will create for its visitors a unique experience around cinematographic art, with outdoor projections in spaces such as small squares, auditoriums, amphitheaters, where the programming is varied between projections, conferences , forums, workshops and audiovisual samples of new filmmakers completely free.

This coming Saturday at 5:30 pm COT at the Mariscal Robledo Hotel Auditorium (Ciudad Colonial Santafé de Antioquia) will be the national premiere of La Sombra de Tu Sonrisa with the presence of its script writer and director Carlos Ospina, producer May Mc’Causland and director of actors Gustavo Angarita Jr. That same Saturday at 11 am COT, May and Gustavo will be in the conversation “Tómate un Café”, in La Colonia Pasaje Gastronómico, to share with the festival attendees.

The Shadow arrives in Colombia with awards and recognitions such as Best Director at the Lusca Film Festival in Puerto Rico, Honorable Mention from the Jury at the Festival International Du Film Panafricain in Cannes, Best Actor and Best Film at the Bangalore Short Film Festival in India, and with premieres in renowned venues in France, the United States, Germany, Brazil and Canada.

The Shadow of Your Smile team celebrates this premiere in the country and begins its national tour that they hope will be as satisfactory as the one that has ended on world stages.
