This is the second expedition and it has more than 30 products that you can enjoy on the web: A special chapter of the podcast La Mochila Desgualanga’, new entries to the blog that bears the same name and that tells experiences of exploration in the Pacific, Interactive Maps of routes and sites visited, Photographic Galleries that summarize each of the days and of course the official trailer of Genaro Torres: The Legacy of the Great Marimbero.

The products of the expedition will be available for free on the official website of Studio AYMAC and its surrounding platforms. On Thursday, November 3, the content will begin to be released with the launch of the Expedition Guapi section on the web. Every Thursday, new content will be available in Spanish and English until the content generated from these 4 days of experiences and sounds is covered.
Returning to travel around the Pacific thanks to the Call for Estímulos de Cali, which allowed us to travel to Guapi to visit Genaro Torres and enter, even for a few moments, into his life has been a great opportunity for all. I deeply appreciate the good disposition and help we received from social leaders and inhabitants of the community of Guapi, I consider that although smaller in the number of products, this expedition has an important place for us since the objectives that were outlined at the beginning of this expedition are beginning to be fulfilled. journey. I hope you find what we share attractive and at the same time that it serves to highlight the people of Guapi, the benefits we find when exploring and our immense admiration for a population that always continues to fight.
Making films in the regions is a commitment we have had since the creation of Studio AYMAC over 7 years ago. Today, we can affirm that this journey filled with adventures has allowed us to tell stories in unexplored places, facing unique challenges, and proposing diverse production schemes where the only non-negotiable element is quality, not only in terms of technical equipment but also in the well-being of the filmmakers, safety, and every link in the legal chain.
Having traveled the world for three years, the film shot in the salsa capital will finally premiere next Friday, June 9th, in one of the most emblematic spaces for art and independent cinema exhibitions: La Tertulia Museum’s Cinemateca.
